The Education Department, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) with the support of Peepul is driving a 3-year holistic system strengthening programme, towards improving learning outcomes.
Project Parivartan reaches 2,50,000 students and 6000 teachers across 568 MCD schools. The programme design is premised on a three-pronged approach involving academic reforms, administrative reforms and institution-building endeavours, supported by a host of enabler initiatives.
While the administrative and institution-building efforts in the programme aim at enhancing school processes and institutions for better education management and delivery, Parivartan Pathshala - a blended learning programme aims at actively improving student learning outcomes.
Parivartan Pathshala (currently a learn-from-home programme) seeks to improve student learning and engagement through four main aspects - enriching academic curriculum and learning (for both synchronous as well as asynchronous teaching-learning activities) teacher capacity building, parent engagement and outreach for device access to increase connectivity.

The programme builds on our experience of delivering innovative solutions to improve student outcomes and develop teachers’ capacity through its ongoing interventions including the Exemplar Schools and MCD Sitara program respectively to implement reforms across MCD Schools. This program was launched in April 2021.
